About

Jeffery J. Crandall is the Founder and Chairman of eLegacy, a full-service online estate planning law firm. With over 30 years of experience in estate planning, business succession, tax, real estate, and elder law, Jeff brings deep insight and practical expertise to his clients. He became an attorney out of a desire to help people solve problems—and finds even greater satisfaction in helping them avoid problems before they arise. As a former general counsel for a publicly held NASDAQ-traded company and entrepreneur himself, he understands the challenges business owners face, offering a unique and empathetic perspective. He has helped hundreds of clients preserve and pass on the legacies they’ve worked a lifetime to build.

Beyond his legal work, Jeff is active in both professional and community organizations, serving on various nonprofit boards. Alongside his wife, Julie, he participates in international humanitarian missions, especially in remote areas of Guatemala and Honduras, where he assists medical teams with translation, patient intake, and other support roles—his favorite “vacation” each year. Jeff is also passionate about the outdoors and enjoys skiing, water sports, backpacking, fishing, golf, and more. Above all, he treasures time spent with his children, their spouses, and his grandchildren.
